I cook, play music, read a book, meditate, or get some exercise. In that time I need to be doing other things that interest me, but are casual. It’s called rumination, and it can really mess with your sleep, so I feel you.įor me, the primary solution is to make sure there is a solid block of time between when I stop coding and when I sleep - like, 5-7 hours.
